Quietly and without an announcement, Chrysler rolled a new concept car into the lights of the Detroit Auto Show. Nobody was expecting that. When the lights hit the showcase halls on the first day of the Show, everyone was surprised. Media, press, even some members of the Chrysler staff were surprised.
Chrysler introduces a new mini van concept 700C, a futuristic version of the boring family car. And thought it is a mini van, this one does not look so boring. The 700C spots quite a few unique and unusual design elements: diamond shaped front side windows as well as sleek door handles, that are blended together. The effect is quite unusual. Even the back window has the logo engraved in the glass instead of having the so well knowed chromed fixed metal.
The car's story is bit unusual: started as a side project deep in Chrysler's design kitchen, the outcome was so intriguing that the company decided to showcase it just 2 weeks before the Show opened. The model is not in the running shape, since it laks the inner parts, but the design is all that matters now. Whether you like this shiny jelly bean or not, decide yourself. If will decide the vehicles future.
Here in Chicago, we think that the 700C is a great new addition to the luxury car fleet, however, we are still looking for a nice alternative to the discontinued Lincoln Town Car for our Chicago Limo Rentals. And despite we like it so much, the 700C does not seem to be the proper replacement for Chicago Limo Rental services.
